How To Defeat Thanatos[All Forms]

Here's a little guide I would like yall to see on how to deal with the pesky Thanatos. Of course, I don't play girl characters, so this guide is strictly for the male character, excluding Zero. I will include Zero once I've soloed Thanatos with him.

Recommended Skills: Holy Bless Level 3, Blast Bomb Level 3, Illuminate Sword, Rune Spiral Level 3, Giga Crash Level 3, Astral Vine
NOTE: This is mainly for Ronans that know how to otto shot.

First Form:
Human Form is relatively easy. Make sure you're stocked on full MP when the battle begins. Use Holy Bless 3 times to take it to Level 3. Then, otto shot until he attacks, and you lose your mana shield. Use Holy Bless to get that mana shield back. Rinse and repeat until he transforms.

Second Form:
Knight Form is kind of tricky to figure out. For one, he can fly. This usually causes some issues for players because he can fly out of range of your attack(up). But no worries. For this problem to resolve itself, just wait it out. Now for this form, you're gonna want to do that same thing, Holy Bless, and when he attacks, use Holy Bless again. HOWEVER, this time, you won't be able to otto shot. Instead, you can either jump attack him, or dash jump attack. This will put little dent in him, so wait until he goes to the middle, and you can attack him from above on a platform. Then, DON'T otto shot, just combo. He might attack you here and there, but just use your pet when you fall down, and you should be okay. Repeat this until he transform one final time.

Third Form:
Ah, God Mode. What a hellish mode at that. Basically, you want to keep a distance from his FEET, because, even though he doesn't have any kicking moves, there's fire around his feet, and TWO, not one, but TWO attacks of his can reach to his feet, causing either a lot of damage, or a 1HKO. So, you want to distance yourself away from that. Instead, head for the...uhh...head. Now, I know that he has spike attacks that home in on you. No problem. He does this quick stance before he fires the spikes. Once he does that, run the hell away from him, and wait for all the spikes to go down. Then, rush back to him, and combo him, assuming you still have Holy Bless Level 3. If not, use Holy Bless until you do. Rinse, repeat. BUT, he also has this attack that draws you closer with a vacuum force similar to Black Space's and Gardosen's Petrify Vacuum. Well, if he were to move in a stance that used both his hands, RUN! Run like a cheetah away from that, because that thing is deadly. An alternative you can do is to make him teleport to either edge of the map, more so the right, because it has MP and HP recovery. Then, combo him from his back, run under his feet, and I mean RUN! Don't walk, run! Rinse, repeat. Voila. You've just beaten Thanatos.

My Ryan guide is to use Neph and use the 1 bar whenever there is a hgh damaging hard hitting attack like when Thanatos final form reaches out a creates the instant fatal flame effect. If a 1 bar is chained too late you won't be invincible during it.
