Legend of Ezio (Story so far)

I have been working hard on this. Tell me what you think so far.

Legend of Ezio

“Awaken my child.”
Ezio’s eyes slowly opened.
“What is it?”
“Your training is complete, you may have only trained for a week, but your progress is phenomenal.” The old man ran his fingers through his gray goatee. Something is up, but I’ll play along for now. Ezio’s eyes glanced at the box sitting in a dark purple light, suspended 3 feet from the ground.

“Ah, eager to attain your prize are you? That Vajra has been a load of trouble you know. However, only those with knowledge of the past users may attain this.” The old man looked up thoughtfully. “I believe a red haired boy attained this 100 years ago, a flame Vajra. You should know who that is, your great grandfather.”

A bored expression overcame Ezio’s face. This man needs to get to the point. The old man looked at Ezio and smiled as if he read his mind.
“However, you know the past users, and how your great grandfather. So your final challenge is to … Defeat me.”

A smirk ran across Ezio’s face. “Very well, as you wish. What are the terms?”
“Use anything to defeat me. Your choice will determine if the Vajra unleashes its power for you.”

Ezio studied the man intently. A wave of heat ran through his body, this just isn’t any old man.

The two warriors take a stance. Ezio is in his battle attire now, A sleeveless black shirt and Combat shorts. The old man snaps a movement and the ground under him collapsed like a mini-shockwave.
“Hmm. Definitely not just an ordinary old man.”
“You would be a fool to think otherwise.”
The old man rushes at an amazing speed, in a rapid zigzag motion. Ezio’s eyes can’t keep track of him, but he reacts instantly by sidestepping to the left. Just as Ezio did this, the ground below him became no-more.
The old man stepped and turned in Ezio’s direction, on him again. Ezio lifts his arm and puts his knees in a fortified position. As soon as this occurs, a great force slams upon Ezio. His forearm blocked the fist and held it in place. Ezio slams his fist into the mans jaw. The man head turned like it was a slap.

“Impressive Ezio, but that is not going to do much I assure you.”

The man slammed his fist into Ezio’s side; hold it there for a moment.

“Pathetic.”

The man did a round house kick into the side of Ezio’s head, sending him flying.
Ezio catches himself with a low back flip but the old man was already on him. Ezio continues to back step away from him to gain distance. The old man came up for a punch and Ezio tried to deflect, but the hand disappeared and the real punch met his face.

“What the hell?”

The old man watched Ezio pick himself up.

“Had enough Ezio?”

“Nope, not even close old man, enough games.”

Ezio charged at the old man deflecting his punches. He delivered a uppercut and then shadow stepped behind him, giving him a knee to the back. A series of blows were given until a Demon Kick flew the man to the wall.

“Not bad for a child but-”

The wall behind the man exploded, shaking the very foundation of the temple. Ezio glanced at the old man who was on the floor, knocked out. A piece of foundation fell upon the old man. Ezio looked behind him at the box suspended in the air and dashed for it. A boulder fell infront of Ezio and before it hit the ground, Ezio vaulted over it in midair. Ezio opened the box and a Dark Evil fell around him. Ezio began to levitate in the air and his entire body began to glow purple.

A voice behind him said, “No!”

The building collapsed.

Ezio’s eyes were failing him as everything was a blur. The temple is in ruin. Two hooded figures appeared over him.

“Merda Ezio… A brave boy but gets in trouble more than he should.”

“He knows he is supposed to work tomorrow. Oh well, lets take him home.”

The 1st hooded man pulled up his sleeve and spoke into a wrist computer.

“Message Takeda H.Q., we have Ezio and we are heading home.”

Ezio fell asleep again. Training is complete.

“Listen to me boy,” said a dark voice.

“Huh,” Ezio’s eyes snapped opened and his worlds echoed through the empty void he stands in. The light that surrounded the box now surrounds him, as he is the only lit up object in the room.

“Pretty mobile for a boy.”

“Who are you?”

“not very stable though, his path is clouded.”

“I said, who are you?”

“Boy, why did you open my box?”

“Look, you can ignore me, but until I get my questions answered. Your questions shall wait.”

“Very well. I am Shimomura. The dark entity that fills the Vajra. When you opened the box, I was released into you. I am the Vajra. I am you.”

“What do you mean you are me?”

“I am apart of your mind, body and soul. If you die, so do I. I can’t let that happen.”

“The Vajra…”

“Is apart of you. You possess a great evil. Good or evil, titles don’t concern me. Just don’t be careless.”

“Where am I?”

“You are in the border between me and you dubbed the Shadow Dimension.”

“I see, but-“

“Enough, we will speak again soon.”

A man in a hood is pacing around a teenage-looking boy that’s sitting in a chair. There is a katana laying on the desk.

“You have failed me for the last time. Your objective was to get Master Himomaru alive but you killed him in a ridiculously reckless action.”

The teenager swallowed, beads of sweat fill his forehead.

“I was just doing as the Commandant told me to do. That was to kill everyone and-”

“Enough, you didn’t do what I told you to do. I recently found out a boy released the Demonic Vajra of northern Beijing. A easy target. This will be your final chance to redeem yourself. Take Xerxes with you, the boy may have engaged communications with the Demon. I can’t have my plans destroyed.”

Relief shot across the boys face.

“Very well, I will do it.”

“You don’t have a choice.”

The two stare each other down until the boy broke free.

“Don’t fail me again.”

The boy gets up and walks away. The man turns his gaze elsewhere.

“Foolish boy, the demon will kill you before me. A win-win situation.”

Alice, Information Broker in an organization called Takeda Corp. She gets information that anyone in her organization would want. Her eyes glued to the luminescent screen. Her boss wants her to look up information on one of their operatives named Ezio.
Evidently, as the story goes, Ezio killed an old man but the ballistics in the explosion resulting in the temples destruction suggests someone else did. Ezio is innocent for now. Alice pulls up Ezio’s files.

“Whoa, Demonic Vajra? What is that?”

A voice boomed behind her.

“I guess you regularly talk to yourself, but to answer your question… It’s a weapon that embodies the power of a Demon. Ezio, New Demonic Master, released this demon into his mind. Ezio claims to have talked to this Demon, but Nichole isn’t convinced that he is going to keep him under control. We will see soon enough. We have a demon that is going to “attack” Ezio. He doesn’t know about it, keep it that way.”

“Alright.”

“I know about your… Crush on him. Do as I say.”

Ezio did a low sigh. People here at Takeda Corp. never change. He walked down the hallway and people gave him strange looks. He began to talk to Shimomura telepathically.

This is your fault Shimomura.

No, it isn’t. These fools just don’t know how to coup with a Demon Master.

Ezio stoped in his tracks.

I’m no master. I just got you.

I am apart of you, I can make you a master.

Tch, you are so certain I’m going to give up my body to you? I don’t think so.

No, but something will happen and you will give it to me. Like your great Grand Father Jin did to the Flame God.

What? How do you know about that?

Demons share knowledge with each other as they die. Giving Demons better understanding about humans thoughts and giving us experience. Everyone in your family had a weapon that was possessed right? They turned into Master fighters. I will make you one.

First of all, it’s my life. Your just apart of it. I’m telling it, your going along. Don’t step out of your place Shimomura.

Very well.
Ezio came up to a big door with the words “ Authorized Personnel Only” written on it.

“Come in Ezio.”

Ezio walked inside and surveyed the room. Two masked men with massive swords stood at the door, a woman sat at a table in the middle of the room. Nichole. Her 2nd In command was stand next to her. About 3 feet behind them stood a 2 inch thick wall of glass. That when looked through gives you’re a full view of the courtyard.

“Ezio, please stop looking stupid as always and sit down,” the woman said.

“Hmph, some welcome back party, where is my cake?”

The woman’s patience was running low… Only for Ezio though.

“Do as she says.”

Ezio sits in the wooden chair directly across from them.

“Now that your obscene comments are over. Lets get to the point. Somone opened a box of unspeakable evil.”

Hmm… (Shimomura)

“That person was you. We fight evil, not become it.”

“Shimomura is a non-hostile demon. If he wanted my body, he would have taken it by now.”

“Look, I have the idea of killing you. That demon is a threat.”

Her auburn hair fell in her face. She stood up and stared Ezio down.

“We have captured a powerful demon for interrogation. We are asking him for the location of the Demon Dimension. To no avail.”

Ezio’s eyes lowered until they were half closed.

“Your point?”

“Subdue him.”

“No thanks. Shimomura is a Demon why not ask him.”

“It wasn’t a choice and He is apart of you. I don’t trust you.”

“It wasn’t a request either.”

There was a loud boom outside the door and the sound of rapid footsteps creped into Ezio’s ears. The door flew at him, he spun around and kicked it out of the way. A man with devil horn stood in the doorway. The Demon sniffs the air and catches a scent.
With his loud, misty voice he hisses, “ Sssshimo… Mura.”

Ezio looked at the demon. The Demon has a unbelievable stench that only he could apparently smell… Dammit Shimomura. A smile ran across the demons face. He dashed towards Ezio and punched him in the chest sending him flying into the window, however it didn’t break. Ezio looked up and the Demon tacked him through the glass. The both fell 30 feet to the courtyard. A loud thud sounded off.

“Ezio!” Nichole’s voice sounded off.

Ezio lies there and reality turns black and he is transported to the Shadow Dimension.

Ezio.

What?

If I feel you can’t handle something, I’ll need you to take some of my power or give me full control.

What if you do something Evil?

Like you haven’t? I know your past.

Ezio fell silent.

You will have some control if I take over. If I lend my power you will have full control.

Ezio closes his eyes and walks away.

Do it.

In the real world the Demon grabbed Ezio by the neck. Ezio’s eyes snap open, but the color is now Purple not the usual Silver.

“Huh? Persistent fool aren’t you?”

There are people all watching the battle take place.

Ezio places his hand on the Demons chest and a shockwave knocks the demon away from Ezio.

“Death from all Dimensions! Lend me your Rage! Shimomura!”

Ezio is lifted into the air and a purple aura surrounds him. Suddenly, 2 Vajra’s appear in each hand then disappear from view. The sky turns murky. Ezio spins and slams his fist into the ground, making a gigantic shockwave. A blind flash of light comes from Ezio, when it fades he has a strange looking armor on, and some transparent purple wings. His hair has become longer with purple streaks. The aura still surrounds him.

Ezio’s voice is backed up by a mysterious dark presence.

“Alright. Let’s play.”

“Ha! Thought you didn’t have it in you Sssshimomura.”

The demon rushes toward Ezio and tries to punch him, but Ezio simply steps to the left, clearly missed.

“Heh, your too slow for us.”

“Ssshut up, boy.”

The Demon tries to kick him in his side and Ezio dodges again with a back step. Ezio rushes forward and places his hand on his shoulder.

“Your boring me, clearly out of my league.”

“Oh yea?”

Ezio does and few back steps and holds his arms out. A demonic flames encircles him. Finally coming to his hands. It forms in the shape of his Vajra’s. The flame turns into a real object. Looks like Royal Chinese Weaponry that Battlemasters use.

“What? How issss That Puny thing going to help you?”

While the Demon keeps ranting, Ezio starts to run at a slow speed then bursts into a sprint shattering the ground with each footstep. His wings start flapping and then slightly lifts him into the air even faster.

“What the-”

Ezio’s fist backed up with the power of the Vajra, slams into his stomach. He grabs his shirt and flings him into the air.

“Dark Crescent Shimomura!”

Ezio flings his Vajra’s up at him then throws his hands out in a grabbing motion. This motion halts the Demon in midair. Then Ezio throws his hands out and brings them closer slowly. The Vajra’s move closer around the demon in a cutting motion. The Demon screams as the Vajra’s begin ripping up his body. When Ezio closes his hands they stop infront of the demon and the screaming stops. Ezio puts down his arms.

“Pathetic, You’re a waste of my time. Die”

Ezio throws one hand to the side and the Vajra’s explodes in his face. Ezio then reverts to normal. He lets out a low sigh and walks into the building of Takeda Corp.

Ezio staggered once he entered the hallway. Since he entered the building his movements felt sluggish, as if they could be a lot faster. He placed one hand on the wall and the other on his head.

“Uh, what?”

Are you okay?

I think so, but, w-what happened?

Your body sapped a lot of my Demonic Energy. It was yours to begin with but I was only going to give you a bit at a designated amount of time. You took a lot, not the best of it though.

Uh…

Your rage took control of you. I’m impressed actually. Allow me to escort you to your quarters.

Ezio’s body began to shimmer like a heat wave on pavement. Something began to tug on him and it felt like the room was spinning. Then a “dark light” emitted around his feet and rose upward, as it went up, his body disappeared. The light disappeared as fast as it appeared with Ezio with it. A man was standing in the hallway with his jaw open, stupid janitor. Ezio appeared in his room moments later.

Huh? Could I ever learn that?
I’m sure you could… Funny you should ask actually. There is something I must tell you, but I will tell you in a more… appropriate form.

Ezio’s shadow ran across the floor then stopped a few feet ahead of him. It spilt in two and spun to form a perfect circle. The one on the left began to shrink but in its place, a 3-D man began to take his place. It was a woman with a hood with white hair, an angelic aura and unique clothes. Digital-like lines ran across her hands. The hoods shadow covered her face but when the man opened her eyes, a bright white image of two eyes appeared.

“Ezio, I am the Light. I am a Seraphim. I was halting Shimomura’s advance in your body. I am a servant of Harmony. Shimomura and I are to help you in the coming battle.”

Her voice was sweet but determined.
The second shadow began to shrink and also in its place a Demonic presence started to arise. As its form began to take shape, it was obvious to see that this was Shimomura’s true form, or at least his human form. It had a pair of wings that suddenly stretched outward when he flung his arm out. He too was wearing a hood, but horns came out of the top. When he opened his eyes, a pair of demonic eyes appeared. Ezio’s face was in shock.

“Look Ezio, I… We have to tell you something important,” said Shimomura.

“Yes, we do.”

Ezio’s face went calm.

“What would that be?”

They said in unison.

“The history of an ancient war that is about to take a toll on Humanity.”

“A war?”

The Seraphim waved her hand infront of her and a futuristic hologram appeared in-between them.

“What is this magic?”

“Silence, just listen.”

“No need to be harsh to him. Anyway, the Oracle will explain everything…”

The “Oracle” expanded around them and a world appear around them.

“You are still in your room, but this will allow us to see the past… The present… and the coming future.”

Seraphim began to speak.

“Before this planets creation, this dimension was just an empty void. The light and the darkness had a sharp unbreakable line between them.”

“Foolish people would say that this is peace and tranquility.”

“However, there is never any true peace.”

“There is always darkness.”

Apparently Shimomura and this Seraphim were both telling the story…

“As Light and Darkness battled for supremacy, the line between them was constantly being pushed upon.”

“That line snapped,” Shimomura sighed.

“The light and the darkness flooded upon each other, creating a gray area.”

“Chaos, the God of Darkness.”

“Harmony, the Goddess of Light, continue to forge and unending war. Their power forged an supernatural event.”

“The creation of Earth.”

“Life began to form on this burning rock. However, not the life you would expect. These “Humans” were different from you and your friends. These were “godly” humans with powers and higher intelligence.”

“However, each Human picked their allegiance, either with Harmony or Chaos.”

“They fought the Gods war on Earth. Harmony’s warriors, the Seraphim, fought for peace.”

“Chaos’s legion, the Demon of the Unending Fire, fought for evil. However Chaos was going to send a Demonic Inferno on the Seraphim and rebels on Earth…”

“Harmony seeing this opened up a beam called “Heavens Repent” upon the land to “cleanse it”, the Seraphim retreated to the Light. The Demons to the Dark, leaving the Old Humans… The Anasazi, to die.”

“When the superpowers met the explosion eradicated all life on Earth. The explosion was so great it killed many Seraphim and Demons. The world returned to its first phase.”

“Harmony used the last of her power to send the Demons into the fiery pit Humans call Hell.”

“The Seraphim guard the Earth in what humans call, stars.”

“Chaos intends on injecting humans with the Demonic Aura to make them his minions. So he can repeat Earths annihilation. Harmony captured some of the Demons power and intends on using Humans to fight the Demon just as Chaos did.”

“If Chaos can remove the Angelic Seal that keeps his minions in hell, he can destroy Harmony. Which will put the Human race on the brim of destruction.”

“Okay, so let me guess… You must want me, to be the rogue guy and defeat Chaos?”

“Precisely-” The beautiful angel had given Ezio a worried sigh, Shimomura apparently knew I could do this task with ease.

“-and, against better judgment-” she looked at Shimomura, “I am going to become one with you as Shimomura has.”

They both took off their hoods and their faces looked… appropriate. The Seraph’s face was heavenly, her white hair fell to her waist, her eyes had a white/silver look to them. Shimomura, however, just looked like a face-scarred middle aged man. His dark, mysterious purple eyes were… obviously mysterious.

“I don’t want you to see my demonic form, so this will do for the moment.”

“We relayed an message to Nichole, so she knows of the dangers of what’s to come. Ezio, you are a very wise young man, I have seen your future.”

“I see, but-”

The door busted open and a hooded messenger stood there.

“Nichole needs to see you.”
“Alright.”

The man left thereafter and after a moments pass…

“Let’s go Ezio.”

“Indeed, we should go see Nichole.”

Ezio nodded and headed towards the door. A feeling of warmth then a dark feeling rushed through Ezio’s body. He stopped and looked around, but the Seraphim and Shimomura were gone.

“My shadow…”

Ezio looked down and noticed his shadow had reformed again. He let out a low sigh and with closed eyes, he set out for the door. As soon as he stepped out, a girl tripped over his foot. The girl left out a quick curse as Ezio fell towards the wall too. Ezio extended his arms so as he fell he could let gravity perform a quick push up.

Great… That was ultra smooth.

As Ezio got up he looked over at the girl that was picking up her stuff.

Auburn hair... I like that,

“Hey, are you alright? I didn’t mean to do that.”

Ezio let out his hand but she pushed it aside.

“I’m not as defenseless as you may perceive most girls here Ezio.”

“Um, excuse me?”

She turned towards him and her face stunned him. She was beautiful. Her voice only made it better. Her attitude needs work.

“Sorry.”

She gave a sigh.

“It’s fine, I need to go anyway.”

After she turned the corner, the Seraphim’s hand touched Ezio’s shoulder. She had a cocky I-Know-Your-Secret, smile to her.

“What are you smiling about?”

“Nothing.”

Ezio walked forward and the feeling of warmth filled him again

“Your not serious…”

“You heard me Ezio, until we can find the location of the H.Q. that attacked Master Himomaru or the location of the Seal of Avo, you will be going to school.”

“School…”

“Yes… school.”

“Why?”

“Just because your some mystical being of both good and evil, doesn’t mean you don’t have to go to school like everyone else. Besides, you won’t be here to antagonize me.”

“Nichole, you are testing my patience.”

“I could careless, and I will. As long as I have power, you will hold your tongue.”

She gave him a smirk.

“Where are your companions Ezio?”

“Does it matter?”

“Cause, I want them to meet your new team member.”

“Team? We are fine just how we are. We can do this mission without the interference of Takeda.”

“Yet you have a Seraph and a Demon within you, just like your grandfather. Where did that put him.”

Ezio’s temper flaired. He let out a low growl at the woman and tightened his fist. His eyes turned purple and it looked like a purple flame was coming out of his eyes.

“Never talk about my family.”

“You are in Takeda, we are your family.”

“I am nothing like you. I am my own person.”

“You are one of us. You have lost you family in a dishonorable way. Your family was evil. As are you.”

Ezio leaped out of his chair and was leaning over her desk that was across the room instantly. He pulled back his fist and the demonic flame engulfed it, waiting to end her life.

“What are you gonna do? Kill me?”

Ezio stood straight up and looked away. He took a deep breath and looked back at her. His eyes were normal. The Seraphim and Shimomura appeared behind him.

“No, I’m not evil. I’m not like them or you.”

“Good, as for your partner.”

She talked as id she planned this.

“I won’t reveal her true name, but you may call her-”

“Syl.”

“Hmm?” Ezio turned around to see the very girl he tripped before.

“You.” They said in unison.

“Madam Nichole. You didn’t tell me I would be accompanying this man. He is…”

A bored look overcame Ezio.

“This so called Hero of the Two Realms.”

“So-called? Your not a fit warrior to accompany someone like me.”

“Hmph. So, these are your two puppets huh? Impressive.”

Ezio turned to look at Shimomura. He nodded.

“Syl is the best we have. Alpha-class material, higher than you.”

“Why am I teaming up? We can handle this alone.”

“Don’t be foolish.” Syl walked up to him. Close to his face.

“If you go rogue, no one will be able to stop you. I am the link that will stop you, ensuring that doesn’t happen.”

“Ezio, Don’t fight them, lets accept it and move on.”

“Your right Shimomura.”

Ezio walked to the door and his “companions” became his shadow.

Ezio stopped at Syl’s door since it was on the way to his room.

“Ezio.”

Syl had a look of longing for some given purpose.

“What is it…?”

“How do you live with….” Her voice trailed off.

“Like normal. My grandfather had a choice to be good or evil. Its apart of our family tree.”

“Oh, your walk, your stance, you seem like something is weighing you down.”

“Well, yea, evidently the power within me is sleeping and is currently in an gray area. I can make it what I want. Light or Dark. Shimomura and the Seraph are guiding me to my path.”

“I read that there can only be one master per generation. A universal generation.”

“Yea. However…” Ezio’s iris became whitish-blue. “Some people can hold powers within them. Like you.”

“Oh… Um… I need to go, night” Her face was red, she walked in and shut the door behind her.

Seraph. She has powers.

Yes, she is concealing them. I have to admit she is good with concealing. This could explain her Alpha-Class status.

Shimomura.

I’m on it.

Ezio teleported to his room again. There was the same drunken old Janitor
“Wow. Enough late night coffee.”

Loser.

A dark murky cloud-like mist was all around Ezio… Like an endless void that couldn’t support life… Hope… Light… the Shadow Dimension.

“Okay.”

Shimomura and Ezio were sitting Indian Style.

“As you may remember, this is the Shadow Dimension. Allow me to go more in-depth. Here you may train, meditate and anything else that suits you. You overall will be affected, but the world outside, won’t.”

“Hmm…”

“Here, you can train your greater wisdom, combat styles and anything else that suits you.”

“What’s first?”

“The Vajra…”

Ezio nodded and the ghostly image of the Vajra formed infront of him.

“Ezio. What you think, is an illusion. Like “this” Vajra. What you know will become real.”

The image of the Vajra became real.

“Wow. So much wisdom.”

“Indeed. This wisdom will become yours in due time.”

Ezio’s mind drift elsewhere, he thought of Syl. An image of her appeared.

“I see.”

“Huh?” Ezio was shocked to see the image of her and cast the thought aside.

“Your unsure of this girl?”

“No.”

“Then why is she an image?”

“Cause I…Um…”

“Hmph. With this place, no secret remains hidden, no lie become fake. Everything will become real. Like it or not.”

Ezio’s face turned red.

“Let’s get back on topic Shimomura.”

“Of course.”

A real object that appeared to be the Vajra appeared infront of them.

“The Vajra is a Universal Weapon. If you think it to be so, a clouded illusion is given, If you know it to be so, then it shall reflect. The Vajra is Demonic for you “know” it to be so. Since a man said something it is to be true? Master Himomaru sealed me into this Vajra. He deemed it evil. So everyone else sees this as so, you and many others. Its power has reflected this as well. The Vajra is how you deem it to be, a longbow? A katana? It’s up to you. I hope you understand today’s lesson. Good night.”

Shimomura disappeared and an image of Ezio asleep formed infront of this “Ezio”, soon after an image of Syl appeared.

This is who she is. This is how I foresee her. Make it so.

Syl became real but stood there, not noticing Ezio. Everything went black… signaling a new day.
